Kickball Tournament Rules

Teams
-
Minimum 10 players per team (8 on field). At least 4 female players must be included on the roster/lineup.

Max roster: 15 players.
-
At least 2 female players must be on the field at all times.

A female kicker cannot be substituted out solely to avoid the female-kicker fielding rule.

All players must sign a waiver before their first game.

Game Play
-
7 innings OR 50-minute time limit, whichever comes first.
-
If time expires, the inning in progress will be completed. No new inning will start.

Mercy rule: 10-run lead after 5 innings ends the game.

Pitching / Kicking
-
Pitch must be rolled underhand. No intentional bouncing.
-
Kicker must have one foot completely behind home plate at the moment of contact.

Bunting is allowed, except with bases loaded. If a bunt occurs with bases loaded, the kicker is out.

No strikeouts. Instead, three fouls = out to help speed up the game.

Fielding
-
Outfielders must start behind the base paths

Male kicker: only the pitcher may charge forward before contact

Bunting is allowed, except with bases loaded. If a bunt occurs with bases loaded, the kicker is out.

No pegging above the shoulders.

If a runner is hit in the head/neck, the runner is safe and play is dead immediately.

Infield fly rule applies for safety: a pop-up that can be caught by an infielder with ordinary effort is called out.

Base Running
-
Runners must stay within baseline.
-
No sliding into first base or home plate. Sliding into other bases is allowed at the runner’s risk.

Runners are out if tagged, pegged below shoulders, or forced out.

Overtime / Tie-breaker
-
If tied after regulation, the last kicker from the previous inning starts on 2nd base for each team.

Play continues in extra innings until there’s a winner.

Sportsmanship
-
This is a fun, family-friendly, charity event

No fighting, aggressive behavior, or disrespect
-
Umpire calls are final

Pool Play → Single Elimination Bracket

Multiple fields running at once
-
Teams are seeded into bracket play based on pool results

Win and advance — lose and you’re out
